Bucatini originates from Naples in southern Italy. From the Italian for hole, Bucatini is a spaghetti shaped pasta with a hole running through its center. It is best suited for Bucatini all 'Amatriciana, a bacon and tomato based sauce, as well as Primavera sauces. Made with organic durum wheat semolina using traditional bronze dies, this pasta has a rough textured surface which allows it to better capture and hold sauces once cooked.
